Bandon RFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Tadhg Galvin as club captain for the coming season. Tadhg (pictured above with proud grandad and club stalwart Jim Riordan) is an outstanding player, who featured for the Munster Junior team this season. In addition to playing a leading role for the J1s this season, Tadhg was the head coach of the U.18.5 team, who retained the Pan-Munster Cup a few weeks ago.

Tadhg takes over from Padraig Galvin, who has been an excellent captain for the past two seasons, leading the J1's to top-four finishes in Munster Junior League in both seasons, while onboarding a lot of young players from our successful underage teams. Tadhg will look to build Padraig's example, and we wish Tadhg and the team all the best for the coming season!
