The Bandon RFC Underage Fund-Raising Walk is taking place on Saturday, May 9th at 4PM. The walk will start at the Bandon Mart and go to the end of the recently-extended Claire O'Leary Walk, and return to the Mart (about 7 KM in total). We are looking for as many people as possible from the Bandon RFC community (players, parents, members and supporters) to come along and participate in the walk.

The walk will be followed by the club's end-of-season awards in our clubhouse in Old Chapel. So it promises to be a fun day to bring the curtain down on the 2025-26 season for all of our players and supporters!

The club is currently distributing sponsorship cards to players. May 9th is also the day for Darkness Into Light, Pieta House's fantastic dawn walk. For those that are not up and out at 4:15 AM that morning (or for those who were up and out, but who want some more exercise!), please consider doing the Bandon RFC walk in the afternoon, and note that the club will be making a donation to Pieta House to support their vital work in addressing suicide and self-harm.

We are also encouraging ex-players and ex-members from around the world to do their own version of the walk while donning their club colours!
