Bandon RFC continued to be very well represented in Munster underage teams in the latest round of interprovincials against Ulster:
- Daniel Coughlan and Zach Piper both started for the Munster U.19s in a hard-fought 25-12 win.
- Cillian O'Flynn was on the U.18 Clubs side that also defeated Ulster 27-19.
- Lisa and Niamh O'Mahony were in the U.18 Girls squad that defeated Ulster 34-5.
- Lewis Lenihan and Sam Barry are on the U.18 Schools squad who are taking on Ulster today (Sunday).
Mark Whelton, Dean Hourigan and Dylan L'Estrange all represented the Munster U.17 Development Squad that concluded their summer season by playing the Munster Schools team.
And it is also worth noting the strong representation from other West Cork clubs in these interprovincials, with players from Kinsale, Bantry and Clonakilty also doing their families and clubs proud over the weekend.
